Arizona wanted to produce a new product line with a partner that shared the company’s strong sense of family values and loyal roots, and Nicklaus was the ideal fit. Jack Nicklaus has not only been anointed the greatest golfer in the history of the sport, but as a husband of 51 years, a father of five and grandfather to 22, he has been lauded for his commitment to family.

The Golden Bear line features three flavors, including regular Lemonade with Honey and Ginseng, Mango Lemonade and Strawberry Lemonade. Arizona’s “Golden Bear” Jack Nicklaus products are packaged in the company’s iconic 23-ounce cans. Each can features portraits of Nicklaus and his family during memorable personal and athletic achievements. Included on each can are images of Nicklaus clutching the Claret Jug after his 1987 British Open Victory; the Golden Bear carrying son Gary off the green during his win at the 1973 PGA Championship, where he set the mark for major championship victories; and even a teenaged Nicklaus during his all-star days playing basketball for Upper Arlington High School-ironically known as the Golden Bears.

History: With handwritten recipes from their hometown of Lucca, Italy, Rinaldo and Ezilda Torre introduced Torani syrups to the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco in 1925. Mixing their syrup recipes with sparkling water, the Torres introduced the classic Italian soda to local cafes, and soon began mixing, blending and selling Torani Syrups from their Italian wholesale grocery.

In 1957, the Torre's son-in-law, Harry Lucheta, took over the business and guided Torani's growth from a small local San Francisco business to a brand that is loved around the world.

Fast forward to the early 1990s when Torani was at the helm of a new flavor movement in coffee. While sitting in San Francisco's Caffe Trieste, coffee industry veteran (and friend of Torani) "Brandy" Brandenburger spied Torani behind the counter and brought a bottle home to experiment with espresso and steamed milk. And thus, the first flavored caffe latte emerged, changing the pages of espresso history forever.
